If there are posts with a lot of comments, you need to scroll endlessly to get to the last one and to the text area that lets you respond.
To simplify this, create a "... see more ... " text button that shows all comments when clicked, and hides up to 90% of the messages. Hiding those already seen is even better!

Good idea. It's common practice on many sites; Nextdoor is an example, I think.
