Expand/Collapse FAQ

Expand-and-collapse (accordion) designs work well for FAQ pages because they organize long blocks of text into a compact, easy-to-read layout.
Key Benefits
• Saves vertical space: Stacking dozens of questions and answers in full view creates a massive, endless scroll. Accordions let users see a clean list of topics at a glance.
• Improves scan-ability: Visitors can quickly skim the question headers to find what they need without reading unrelated answers.
• Gives user control: Users decide which specific answers to open, making the page feel lighter and less overwhelming.
• Keeps mobile layouts tidy: On smaller phone screens, long answers take up too much room; collapsing them prevents thumb fatigue and excessive scrolling.
• Reduces bounce rates: When users find quick answers cleanly, they engage longer with the page instead of leaving out of frustration

I agree with this request. What I am doing now is editing the intro text to say, "See below for answers to questions about trash removal, parking, ... " and updating the sentence each time we add a new FAQ. It helps, but it's pretty kludgey.

I definitely agree with this. As the number of items grow, having to page down gets to be a real pain.

I agree. It's much easier for the member to see a collapsed list of FAQ topics instead of one long page of topics with answers to wade through. Most definitely needed from the user's perspective.
