Editing a table in the new editor changes spacing

On my committee pages, the members names are in a table. When I edit a page (to change a name), the height of the rows in the increase and the page formatting is messed up (see attached for examples). I realized it was putting extra padding in the cells. Why is going into page edit mode changing the table format? Also, there is a change in line breaks that were not there before.

This was determined to be minor differences due to the new modernized editor being different than the legacy one. These minor differences are normal for pages with more complex formatting, and need tweaking manually.

Also, to address your concern about spacing, when you press the “Enter” key, a new paragraph is created by default, which results in double spacing. However, if you press the “Shift” and “Enter” keys simultaneously on your keyboard, a single line break will be inserted instead.
Therefore, if some text that was previously added in the editor has double-spacing and others have single, this is how you can make the spacing cohesive.
